Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION – STORE MANAGER

Reports To: Managing Director, Director
Division: JOIE DE VIVRE by Starlight Maldives, Tuck Shop

Summary of Position:
The person is responsible for the efficient management and productivity of the tuck shop, JOIE DE VIVRE at LUX NORTH MALE RESORT. This person is accountable for the overall operation of the store as well as the motivating and maintaining of staff relations. This candidate must be able to read and comprehend financial statements. Previous experience will be an added advantage.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

1. Demonstrating the class and service of the shop, Joie De Vivre.
2. Greeting and Serving the customers.
3. Being competent in all aspects of work done by salespeople, scoopers, supervisors, and assistant managers.
4. Being aware and understanding company policies.
5. Motivating employees.
6. Holding regular staff meetings.
7. Addressing employee and customer concerns.
8. Planning and conducting training sessions for other staffs.
9. Being familiar with store evaluation procedures.
10. Being responsible for ensuring the preparations and submission of financial reports on a timely basis.
11. Work Scheduling.
12. Supply and Stock managing.
