About Us
Sheri Pvt Ltd started in the year 1998.
Initially we started with salons, gyms, wellness and beauty services. Over a period of 21 years company grow. During the process we have trained, fitness instructors, beauticians and hairdressers in the country.
We are happy most of them now have their own business in the same line of trade they have worked for us before.
We have also invested in other areas, like Guest houses, restaurants and travel agencies. A lot of investments we have done in 2019 to get into tourism; guest house travel agencies and restaurant.
We have invested a tremendous amount of money to create a customized OTA with all the features to accommodate Maldivian tourism services. we are glade our projects got the best IT award in FANNU expo2019. Below are the links of our guest house and OTA website which is automated to work with its own engineering.
We are a family business and within our family we have Hardware and software engineers, medical doctors, architects, banking lawyers, business lawyers, architects, chartered accountants and sales and marketing people with many years of hospitality and tourism backgrounds. We have 10 to 12 family members working in the business. Company pay for them for the work they do. But since they are family, pension office do not require them to be registered. Other locals we employ unfortunately stay for a very short period of time - usually less than 3 months. Hence we have to employ usually many foreigners. The family is also involved in community development voluntary work and the company provides support logistically and financially for such NGOs.
